About the Role
Developing and implementing recruitment strategies for hard to fill and specialist roles
Maximising attraction through creative and effective marketing of career opportunities within the ICB
Ensuring all hiring managers understand their role and have the relevant, skills and expertise to make effective recruitment and selection decisions.
Fostering collaborative and effective ways of working between the CSU/ICB recruitment team and hiring managers to minimise time to hire by identifying and resolving blockages or delays
Ensure high quality candidate experience from application to on boarding
Seek out opportunities to improve recruitment practices in relation to attraction, selection, onboarding and retention
Horizon scan and provide insight on the labour market and benchmarking with other employers
Utilise and produce data to steer recruitment strategies and monitor performance
Contribute to development of the ICB wide recruitment and attraction strategy and engage with CHC hiring managers to imbed this at team level.
Be prepared to travel and work from base at least 2 days per week to support the ICB vision for hybrid working
This role is not patient facing, therefore there are no responsibilities for patient/client care.
There may be occasional need to work flexibly outside of normal working hours.
There will be an expectation that the successful candidate will manage their own diaries to minimise risk of interruptions and manage periods of concentration.
